Job Title: Freight Shipping Sales Manager

Keller Executive Search is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Freight Shipping Sales Manager to lead their sales team in Shanghai. As the Freight Shipping Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the overall sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to maximize their potential.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including expanding the client base.
  • Manage key client relationships and ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential business risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and best practices to drive sales innovation.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Has a network of local exporters and intensive connections with other freight forwarders in the market.
  • At least 5 years experience in the forwarding industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, market trends, and customer behavior.
  • Proficient in using CRM and sales management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
