Air Freight Operations Manager

Main Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the air freight team to achieve set goals and objectives.

  • Maintain good communication and coordination among departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor special projects and ensure risk control.
  • Handle daily inquiries, quotations, and RFQ work.
  • Develop and improve air transportation department operations to increase efficiency.
  • Allocate and adjust workload among team members to promote healthy development.
  • Collaborate with the GATEWAY department to understand market dynamics and arrange cargo shipments effectively.
  • Assist other departments in completing various projects and tasks.
  • Participate in meetings, negotiate, and accompany visits with clients and stakeholders.
  • Complete tasks and goals assigned by superiors in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • College degree or above in a relevant field.
  • Major in International Trade, International shipping, or Freight forwarding.
  • Over 5 years of experience as an operation manager or over 10 years of experience as an operation supervisor.
  • Familiarity with air export operations and market resources.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Professional knowledge related to air freight exports and familiarity with operating procedures.
  • CET-6 or above in English language proficiency.
  • Training and experience in managing air freight documents, operations, and customer service.
  • Familiarity with office automation and computer applications.
  • Independent, professional, and active working attitude with good problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills with ability to handle problems.
  • Initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and teamwork spirit.
  • Customer service spirit and ability to handle pressure.
