About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Recreation Manager to join our team at Marriott International. This is a key role that requires leadership skills, experience in recreation operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a role model and demonstrate excellent behavior to guests and employees.
  • Support the Director of Recreation in all aspects of pool and beach areas, including maintenance, daily upkeep, cleanliness, and cabana unit operation.
  • Provide services that exceed customer expectations and promote loyalty and retention.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest and employee satisfaction, maximize financial performance, and drive business growth.
  • Manage outside vendors, including water sports and scuba operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management or related field; or equivalent experience in recreation operations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in recreation/health club operations or related professional area.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
