About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Airfreight Sales Manager to join our team in China. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding our airfreight customer portfolio, bringing in new business to Forto in China, and managing contract renewals for existing customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop relationships with new airfreight customers in China
  • Expand Forto's airfreight customer portfolio in China
  • Manage and renew existing airfreight customer contracts
  • Implement sales strategies and activities to achieve target budgets
  • Work closely with customers to maintain relationships and contribute to their success
  • Anticipate customer needs and improve our customer platform in collaboration with the product and technology development team
  • Communicate market observations and competitor behavior to the Head of Commercial
  • Present airfreight products and customized offers to customers
  • Negotiate contractual terms with customers
  • Ensure adherence to approved credit limits and payment terms
  • Maintain good communication with other Forto departments

About You

  • At least 2+ years of sales and account management experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with a focus on airfreight and customer service
  • A degree in business, logistics, or a related field, or a completed apprenticeship in logistics
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A customer-centric mindset and experience driving airfreight business development
  • A growth mindset and experience in a fast-paced business environment, with start-up experience a plus
  • Exceptional sales talent and ability to build and maintain a network of customers
