Position Overview

The role involves the installation of advanced equipment at client sites, which includes handling new features, unloading components, inspecting for any damages, assembling, aligning, and testing the equipment. It is essential to analyze the applicability, accuracy, and compliance with design specifications, and to recommend design modifications or material substitutions when necessary.

Problem Evaluation and Repair

Evaluate and diagnose technical issues, implementing appropriate repairs. Collaborate with colleagues, customers, and field support teams to isolate and resolve problems effectively.

Equipment Maintenance

Regularly maintain and optimize equipment to enhance functionality and prevent potential issues. This includes performing daily checks and adjustments as required.

Customer Training and Support

Provide training to customers on the operation and routine maintenance of the equipment. Address customer inquiries and assist them in a professional manner. Serve as a resource for users regarding common malfunctions, advising on corrective actions and potential changes in user procedures.

Administrative Responsibilities

Conduct administrative and coordination tasks, including work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly documentation. Prepare detailed technical reports independently and offer support to less experienced ASML or local personnel as needed.

Work Environment

Expect to spend over 50% of the time within a clean room environment, working with both mechanical and electrical equipment.

Flexibility and Initiative

Demonstrate flexibility in work hours, including the ability to accept overtime. Show initiative in communication with colleagues and a willingness to learn from others. Be open to managerial arrangements based on the needs of the business.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience is required, along with mechanical aptitude and knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, semiconductor processes, relevant software, and related fields. Familiarity with safety protocols is essential.

Language Proficiency

A sufficient level of oral and written English is necessary for effective communication.
