Project Manager Approval Specialist

DNV is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Approval to join our Pre-contract & PMA section at Technical Centre China (TCC) in Shanghai. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting pre-contract and sales activities, including bidding and newbuilding plan approval.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pre-contract and sales activities, including bidding and newbuilding plan approval
  • Work closely with the sales organization and customer to ensure internal alignment on project expectations and deliverables
  • Manage and execute the internal work order between the newbuilding region and global approval centers
  • Coordinate smooth communication between internal and external parties
  • Propose improvement opportunities and communicate to line management

Requirements:

  • University degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineer, or related field
  • Min. 5 years of experience in maritime business
  • Customer-oriented with good understanding of shipbuilding practice
  • Positive and proactive attitude with solution-oriented mindset
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills
  • Flexibility with regards to work tasks and cultural differences

Advantages:

  • Related experience as newbuilding project manager or plan approval engineer within IACS member society
  • Proven capability for global project management
