About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager to lead our Chemicals Industry Practice in the Asia-Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and shaping our chemical industry growth strategy and positioning in the region, driving business development, nurturing and expanding our clients, and delivering profitable growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive chemical industry growth strategy and positioning plan for the Asia-Pacific region, aligned with our global strategy.
  • Lead business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and driving sales growth.
  • Provide industry expertise and advice to clients, leveraging our knowledge and best practices in operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with our global Chemicals Industry Team to expand our internal network of industry experts and practitioners, and contribute to thought leadership, offerings, and methodologies.
  • Mentor and coach team members, leveraging their strengths to ensure successful delivery of client projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or Business, with an MBA or MS preferred.
  • Current knowledge of the Chemicals industry, including overall value chain, key trends, major players, key risks, challenges, and value drivers.
  • Previous experience working in a management consulting firm, ideally combined with hands-on experience in the Chemicals industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant industry solutions and best practices in operational risk, operational excellence, or sustainability.
  • Existing relationships with senior leaders and middle managers in targeted Chemicals industry accounts across AP (globally a plus).
  • Direct experience in delivering growth and key services in transforming companies in the Chemicals segment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively drive business development and solution development.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, outcomes-focused, and thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing consulting environment.
