Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Special Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Elementis. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safe operation of special equipment and accessories.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing equipment maintenance safety procedures to ensure personnel and equipment safety
  • Managing special equipment, fire-fighting, safety, and environmental protection facilities, including daily inspections, calibration, and reporting
  • Organizing annual calibration plans for safety accessories, gauges, and instruments, and executing maintenance according to plan
  • Spare parts management, including identifying safety stock proposals, cost control, and timely receiving and issuing of materials
  • Participating in HSEQ system internal and external audits, following up on actions, reviewing documents, and filing reports
  • Planning and optimizing maintenance systems for special equipment, production equipment, and utility
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in maintenance engineering or a related field, with experience in special equipment maintenance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
  • The ability to make decisions related to special equipment management processes and maintenance activities, consistent with legal and company HSEQ requirements
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office software (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, instrument, and fixing equipment, as well as basic safety knowledge of chemical equipment and pipe
  • Bachelor's degree in Science and Engineering, with above 5 years of related working experience, preferably with 2 years of special equipment management experience
