Innovative Software Architect Leader for Mercedes-Benz

At Mercedes-Benz, we are seeking a visionary software architect to lead our research and development efforts in China. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and strategy in software architecture, ensuring alignment with global solutions and strategies.
About the RoleWe are offering a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Located in Shanghai, CN, this full-time position requires immediate start.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or above in Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field, along with more than 7 years of relevant work experience in in-vehicle infotainment systems, ADAS systems, and BCM & Gateway. You should have led at least two product SW Architecture designs and have a strong technical stack background on multiple functionality domains like Audio/Video/Media/Connectivity/Diagnosticis/Powermoding/Security/Graphics/Network/UI/AI/Vehicle Abstraction/Sensor Fusion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead advanced research and development of SW architecture in China, generating and implementing MBOS software solutions that contribute to positive business results across various domains.
- Develop technical vision and lead research and development of innovative new technologies in the automotive industry, such as 5G cloud, AI computing, Cabin & Drive OS In One System, etc.
- Collaborate with headquarter experts to develop global software solutions and strategies, ensuring effective deployment and implementation in China and globally.
- Evaluate current software architecture, identify potential problems, and enhance and optimize the system for optimal performance and stability.
- Master's degree or above in Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- More than 7 years of relevant work experience in in-vehicle infotainment systems, ADAS systems, and BCM & Gateway.
- Proven track record of leading at least two product SW Architecture designs.
- Strong technical stack background on multiple functionality domains.
