We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Academic Vice Principal to join our team at an international high school in Chengdu. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the academic direction of our school and ensuring the highest standards of education for our students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of our academic curriculum, ensuring alignment with international standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with our Chinese principals to oversee academic matters and ensure a seamless integration of international and local curricula.
- Design and deliver professional development programs for our teaching staff, focusing on curriculum innovation and pedagogical excellence.
- Coordinate international affairs, including student exchange programs, foreign expert visits, and transnational academic collaborations.
- Proven experience as a senior administrator in international education, with a strong background in curriculum development and implementation.
- Familiarity with the UK education system, IGCSE, and A-level curriculum.
- At least 3 years of experience in senior administration within UK schools, with a strong track record of academic leadership.
- Principal/head teacher experience at well-established UK schools is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Chinese education system is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or above in education or a related field.
- Competitive monthly salary of 40,000 RMB, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
