Education Leader for Primary School in Beijing

We are seeking an experienced education leader to serve as the primary school principal at our esteemed private K12 institution based in Beijing. This is a full-time position that will commence at the start of the upcoming academic year.
About Our SchoolOur school is one of the first institutions in China to be authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). With boarding and day school facilities, we cater to students in primary, middle, and high school levels, comprising both local and international students. Our diverse community boasts over 500 staff members from various countries and regions, with 75 classes and more than 2000 students.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement primary school curricula aligned with IB standards and local regulations
- Lead and manage a team of primary school teachers, providing them with professional growth and development support
- Establish policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective primary school operations
- Collaborate with other school leaders to ensure seamless school operations
- Foster strong partnerships with parents and stakeholders in the education community
- Maintain a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment
- Promote academic and character development programs for student success
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 8 years' experience as a primary school principal or equivalent leadership position in an international primary school setting
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IB school
- A Master's degree or higher in Education or a related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
- A deep understanding of PYP curriculum and education technology
- Experience in teacher development, recruitment, and retention
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
