We are seeking a qualified History Educator to join our team at an international school in Qingdao. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History subjects to high school students.

The school is an international boarding school located in Qingdao's Chengyang District. It follows the American Common Core system and provides Advanced Placement courses for secondary school pupils, promoting an English-speaking atmosphere to prepare students for well-known universities worldwide.

Job Details

  • Teach History subjects to high school students
  • Prepare lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments
  • Co-teach with Chinese teachers and develop and improve school-based curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets for all learners to succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant teaching subject
  • Teaching qualification
  • At least two years' relevant teaching experience
  • Familiarity with American Common Core and/or AP curriculum is beneficial
  • Excellent English communicative skills
