Job Title: Technical Project Manager

At LotusFlare, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead our technical projects and drive delivery excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in pre-sales meetings and contract preparations to ensure a solid understanding of project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and defined project management processes and standards.
  • Establish project scope, milestones, and dependencies, and define clear deliverables and roles and responsibilities for project team members.
  • Identify and secure necessary resources to execute project plans, and work with internal and external teams to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Drive project execution, tracking delivery, and proactively resolving blockers and issues.
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks of LotusFlare personnel, ensuring team members are working towards established milestones.
  • Conduct regular meetings to determine progress and address challenges, issues, or questions regarding assigned projects.
  • Prepare and provide periodic updates and status reports to internal and client leaders.
  • Manage UAT and production releases, and project handover to operational support teams.
  • Collaborate with the Global Delivery Team to share experiences and develop the PM discipline within LotusFlare.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, and work with the latest collaboration tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
  • Apply Agile Management principles, running daily rituals like scrum, backlog grooming, planning, and retrospective for a cross-functional team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Information, Engineering, Business Administration, or relevant majors.
  • 5+ years experience in Project Management in a technical and/or software development environment, preferably in the Telecommunications sector.
  • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of foundational Project Management processes, strategies, tools, and methods.
  • Solid foundation in service-oriented and digital technologies to understand service inter-dependencies and technical solutions for multi-tiered systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in delivering products against a plan in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working independently to design, plan, and execute technical projects, and ability to distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence tools, preferably with proficiency using Jira Roadmaps for project planning and tracking.
