Job Title: Senior Manager, Art Direction

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Art Direction to join our team at Riot Games. As a key member of our Art team, you will be responsible for leading the development of high-quality art assets and ensuring that they meet the company's artistic vision and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement art strategies that align with the company's overall vision and goals.
  • Lead a team of artists and designers to create high-quality art assets, including characters, environments, and UI elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Leadership and stakeholders, to ensure that art assets meet the company's standards and requirements.
  • Review and provide feedback on art assets to ensure that they meet the company's artistic vision and standards.
  • Develop and maintain style guides and documentation to ensure consistency across art assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in art direction and implementation.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in art direction or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering high-quality art assets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Maya, Photoshop, and Unity, with experience working with artists who use those tools.
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert experience working with modeling, sculpting, and texturing programs such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
  • Ability to establish art pipelines and set up vendors to work on content creation.
