Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Art Direction to lead our art team and drive the creation of high-quality game content. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for translating creative briefs into concepts that achieve product goals and presenting those concepts to Product Leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement art strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
  • Lead a team of artists and external vendors to produce game content, ensuring high-quality results and timely delivery.
  • Review and provide feedback on content produced by the team, ensuring consistency and adherence to style guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure art content meets product requirements and player expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis, providing insights to inform art direction decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure smooth content creation and delivery.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional experience in art direction or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing art teams and delivering high-quality content.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Maya, Photoshop, and Unity, with experience working with artists who use those tools.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expert experience working with modeling, sculpting, and texturing programs such as Maya, Zbrush, and Substance Painter.
  • Ability to establish art pipelines and set up vendors to work on content creation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects and deadlines.
