Job Title: Senior Manager, Art Direction

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute artistic strategies that align with product goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of artists, designers, and producers to create high-quality game content.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure artistic vision is aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to ensure consistency and quality in artistic execution.
  • Oversee the development of art styles, themes, and lore to ensure consistency across the game.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor analysis to inform artistic decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in the games industry, with a focus on art direction or a related field.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Proficiency in art software such as Maya, Photoshop, and Unity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Deep understanding of the game's IP and ability to apply that knowledge to artistic decisions.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Expert-level experience with art software such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
  • Ability to establish art pipelines and manage vendor relationships.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
