We are seeking an experienced Art Director to lead our Secondary Visual Arts program at eChinaCareers. This is a full-time position starting from the 2024 academic year.

About Us

eChinaCareers is a bilingual boarding school for children aged 6-18 located in Minhang District, Shanghai. Our unique curriculum combines the Chinese national curriculum with the International Baccalaureate, offering education in Mandarin and English.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Art Director to teach Secondary Visual Arts subjects to students in secondary education. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience.

  • Teach Secondary Visual Arts subjects to students in secondary education utilizing the IGCSE and A-Level framework
  • Prepare lessons and lectures, tutor techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing targets for success and improvement
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and parents
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher status with 3-5 years of teaching experience
  • Ability to teach the subject of Visual Arts
  • Knowledge of world-class Visual Arts curriculum, including UK and International, and their assessment methods
  • Proficiency in addressing individual needs through differentiated instruction and diverse learning strategies
Compensation and Benefits
