Your Responsibilities

As the APAC IT Operations Team Lead, you will oversee and enhance the efficiency of our data center infrastructure and cloud services, focusing primarily on Azure Cloud and Azure China Cloud. Your main duties will encompass:

  • Leading a proficient team to guarantee the availability, reliability, and security of our data center and cloud operations.
  • Managing the deployment, configuration, and upkeep of data center hardware and software, alongside cloud resources.
  • Applying best practices for data center and cloud management, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and incident management.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and suggesting enhancements for both data center and cloud environments.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborating with various teams to align with business goals.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical manuals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing data center and cloud operations within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and power/cooling systems.
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure China Cloud services, encompassing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with identity management and access control systems.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and management tools for both data center and cloud settings.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven history of developing high-performing teams.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar are advantageous.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
