About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center and Cloud Operations Team Lead to join our team in APAC. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of our data center infrastructure and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of skilled professionals to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of our data center and cloud operations.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of data center hardware and software, as well as cloud resources.
  • Implement best practices for both data center and cloud management, including capacity planning, disaster recovery, and incident response.
  • Monitor performance and make recommendations for improvements in both data center and cloud environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and technical guides.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing both data center and cloud operations in a complex, multi-location environment.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and power/cooling systems.
  • Expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure China Cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Knowledge of identity management and access control systems.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and management tools for both data center and cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of guiding and developing high-performing teams.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as Data Center Certified Associate (DCCA), Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
