Job Title: Safety & Avionics Airworthiness Engineer for Aerospace Company - Shanghai

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety & Avionics Airworthiness Engineer to join our team at ISATI GLOBAL SOLUTIONS in Shanghai. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and gap analyses to identify safety risks and opportunities for improvement, in accordance with industry standards such as SAE ARP4761/A.
  • Develop and implement safety requirements and procedures to ensure the safe design, production, and operation of our aerospace products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate safety hazards, and to develop and implement safety documentation, including System Safety Program Plans (SSPP), System Safety Hazard Assessments (SSHA), Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and reports of noncompliance.
  • Review engineering designs, test plans, build procedures, operations, and maintenance for safety impacts and prepare reports as required.
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior engineers and support the development of engineering leadership skills.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in safety engineering, with a strong background in avionics and airworthiness.
  • Proven experience working within a regulatory environment, such as FAA/EASA/CAAC, and a strong understanding of airworthiness regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide training and mentoring to junior engineers.
