Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving seasoning innovation in APAC, specifically in Indonesia and Vietnam. The successful candidate will lead the development of new seasoning products, collaborate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of products to meet business ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop seasoning design per aligned 'Product Design Brief' for flavor innovation, converting consumer learning and insight into clear flavor briefs and liaising with suppliers.
• Lead sample evaluation with PD, sensory, and marketing counterparts to finalize design in time per aligned agenda.
• Engage suppliers to deliver required documents per timeline and lead seasoning functionality to sign off to Operations.
• Assist in whole flavor solution design for breakthrough projects, rectify seasoning functionality issues with suppliers, and identify opportunities to improve seasoning development processes.
• Collaborate with the technical dossier owner to maintain well-being of seasoning documentation and build a strong network with the global seasoning team.
• Manage a robust and sustainable win-win relationship with all core seasoning suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or Culinary, minimum bachelor, master preferred.
• Asia cuisine knowledge is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, must be a team player.
• English is a must (upper-intermediate).
• Self-motivated, quick learner, and logical thinker.

Differentiating Competencies

• Able to discriminate and articulate aroma and flavor notes, flexible in describing flavors in technical or consumer-friendly languages on proper occasions.
• Need to pass simple sensory qualification test.
• Worked in a role of selecting flavors or fragrance for a successful consumer product.
• Having managed suppliers in a frank and fair way is a must.
• Personality – Open-minded, remain curious to new stuffs/innovations.
