Architecture Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architecture Manager to join our team in Wealth & Personal Banking IT. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for defining, obtaining governed approvals, and rolling maintenance of roadmaps for in-scope products and service platform architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the governance and design authority for the development of products and services in line with the published roadmap.
  • Ensure product architecture and solution designs reflect the needs of the enterprise and work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team.
  • Responsible for engaging and leading the enterprise architecture and design practice at the DevOps team level.
  • Work with the Service Quality Manager and control functions to ensure that products and services are built to provide the required levels of availability, functional capability, and non-functional capability.
  • End-to-end accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service's direction.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in architecture and full stack engineering.
  • Experience with automated testing, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of current tools, technologies, and areas like cybersecurity and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency, etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
