With seven stylish restaurants and lounges, including Michelin-starred Yu Yue Heen, and a cloud-level infinity pool, our guests are treated to a truly unforgettable experience.
Summary
We are seeking an Executive Director of Culinary Operations who shares our passion for excellence and is dedicated to infusing enthusiasm into everything they do. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Director of Food and Beverage, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs to design an effective menu and wine list that exceeds our guests' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Food and Beverage in establishing plans for the Food and Beverage Division that result in long-range growth and profitability.
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and managers in multiple Food and Beverage operations and outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- A college degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or business administration is required.
Experience:
- Three to five years' previous experience in multiple food & beverage department head positions is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Requires a working knowledge of division operations as well as Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Mandarin speaking is a must and work authorization in China is required.
