Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the set-up and delivery of office/retail projects and programmes from initial feasibility stage through to design, procurement, construction, and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project lead to ensure client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective Project Management service
  • Assist project lead to ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
  • Assist project lead to ensure service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members
  • Monitor and document project progress and other performance indicators
  • Provide document control assurance and lead management of project information flow
  • Prepare Project Management progress reports and other key documentation to be presented to clients
  • Provide a key interface across all stakeholders, liaising with the client, other consultants, end users and authorities, at all project stages
  • Support project planning, including production of the detailed project delivery charter
  • Support the establishment of effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project
  • Support post contract commercial control
  • Manage the change control process and tracking/documenting of all requested changes, quotations and approvals
  • Monitor overall project finances
  • Identify opportunities to improve Project Management process, procedures, templates, and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
  • Identify and ensure that the appropriate parties are aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above degree in engineering, design, construction, project management or related field
  • At least 2 years work experience preferred in commercial/hi-tech manufacturing project management
  • Knowledge on MS Project software, and capable of handling design & construction permitting applications
  • Team player and detail-oriented
  • Good user of MS Word, Excel and PPT
  • English as the working language
