Strategic Sourcing Expert for APAC

At Cardinal Health, we're seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing Expert to join our APAC team. As a key member of our Global Sourcing organization, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive enterprise value through innovative partnerships, best cost, and competitive advantages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sourcing project execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
  • Manage the APAC supply base, delivering best-in-class product cost, quality, service, compliance, and innovation for Cardinal Health branded products.
  • Co-develop and execute global sourcing strategies to achieve best-in-class value, sustainable productivity, and high levels of quality and service.
  • Ensure compliance with company business ethics and procedures, and perform responsible procurement practices.

Requirements:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, preferably in a multinational company or global environment.
  • Solid Strategic Sourcing capability, with expertise in end-to-end sourcing scope, including supplier scouting, selection, contracting, and lifecycle management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with high fluency in English.
  • Able to communicate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams in Asia and the US.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, with a strong focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the medical device industry, particularly in wound care product project sourcing.
  • Background in a matrixed environment, with a proven track record of delivering cost, quality, and service results.
