Job Title: APAC Sourcing Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled APAC Sourcing Leader to join our Indirect Procurement organization in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and negotiating with suppliers across the Asia Pacific region and proposing them to ADM locations globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with business and procurement stakeholders to develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, including logistic solutions to serve the Asia-Pacific region and ADM locations globally.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify and onboard reliable suppliers that meet the stringent quality and safety standards of the food/feed and nutrition sectors.
  • Prepare cost benefit analysis of the sourcing solutions and act as an ambassador with regional and global teams to promote adoption of APAC suppliers for ADM locations globally.
  • Develop and maintain business cases for sourcing events, utilizing advanced analytics tools to enhance decision-making processes and optimize the overall sourcing strategy.
  • Act as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance on sourcing complexities within the designated categories.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and certifications pertinent to relevant categories and industries to ensure continuous supply and risk mitigation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, with MRO/Large equipment, Packaging, Chemical category experience being a must.
  • Fluent/Proficient in English is a must.
  • Experience in logistic management, understanding of global trade/Forex practice, and self-driven team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay process, purchasing intelligence, and ability to set up priorities and manage aggressive assignments.
  • Technology adept, experienced in project management, and skilled in cost/benefit analysis, negotiation, and alternative decision-making.
