Job Title: APAC Quality Assurance Leader

About the Role:

The APAC Quality Assurance Leader will be responsible for leading all quality assurance and control activities to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems, processes, and procedures across the entire product lifecycle in APAC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Analyzing quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigating quality issues and customer complaints, determining root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Representing the quality function during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of quality principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Reliability Engineering, or Supply Chain related field, with some of that being in the Chemicals industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and management roles within a manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Strong chemical knowledge and background.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and industry-specific quality standards.
