Job Summary

We're looking for a talented Process and Technology Expert to join our team at Flex Electronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Jiading, Shanghai.

This role will focus on providing technical support for design for manufacturing (DFM) and production to facilitate efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.

You'll be responsible for developing and implementing production processes, researching new technologies, and evaluating their feasibility for future power modules.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement production processes.
  • Conduct research and evaluate new technologies for future power modules.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective production processes.
  • Work with engineering teams to prototype, test, and release products to manufacturing.
  • Contribute to the development of technically robust and effective solutions to design problems.
  • Manage design parameters and priorities in collaboration with team members.
  • Develop best practices and identify equipment and material needs with the team.
  • Resolve design problems and define system and subsystem approaches to meet project goals and schedules.
  • Identify standard products and sub-blocks for inclusion in solution proposals.
  • Develop key relationships with internal design teams and subcontractors to plan comprehensive product strategies.
  • Strive for improvements and efficiencies in the engineering area.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical developments and trends in the field of expertise.

Requirements

  • University degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields.
  • Profound knowledge and skills in DFM-related production and practice of Power Modules, process, productivity, Industrial Engineering, or Lean Production.
  • Leadership, creativity, and persuading ability.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and well-organized with analytical mind.
  • Good communication and project management skills.
  • Fluent English in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.

Preferred Experiences

  • Several years of working experience as DFM engineer or Mechanical designer in electronics manufacturing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Flex power modules products and processes.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt.
