About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Director to lead our finance team in Nanning, China.
Job Summary
- Lead and develop the finance team in China, ensuring effective communication with other departments.
- Oversee financial statement preparation in compliance with local and international regulations (CAS/C-GAAP and IFRS).
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes and reporting to HQ in Singapore.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor budget performance, and conduct variance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, ensure efficient cash management, and maintain banking relationships.
- Review payments for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Support quarterly group consolidation reports and schedules.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties for intercompany and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with corporate filing requirements, tax filing, monthly VAT, audits, and internal forms.
- Report to the Group Finance Manager and Group CFO.
Requirements
- Willingness to be based in Nanning, China long-term.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance.
- Good working knowledge of CAS, C-GAAP, and IFRS.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A self-starter with strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent team player with strong communication, people-management, and organizational skills.

Compensation Package
