Senior Financial Director for Asia Pacific

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Director to lead our finance team in Nanning, China.

Job Summary

• Lead and develop the finance team in China, ensuring effective communication with other departments.
• Oversee financial statement preparation in compliance with local and international regulations (CAS/C-GAAP and IFRS).
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing processes and reporting to HQ in Singapore.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitor budget performance, and conduct variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, ensure efficient cash management, and maintain banking relationships.
• Review payments for accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Support quarterly group consolidation reports and schedules.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties for intercompany and operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with corporate filing requirements, tax filing, monthly VAT, audits, and internal forms.
• Report to the Group Finance Manager and Group CFO.

Requirements

• Willingness to be based in Nanning, China long-term.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance.
• Good working knowledge of CAS, C-GAAP, and IFRS.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• A self-starter with strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent team player with strong communication, people-management, and organizational skills.

Compensation Package
