Your contributions will be measured against established service level agreements and key performance indicators.

As a General Ledger Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and entering monthly GL journal entries, including accruals and amortizations, into the ERP system.
  • Managing Fixed Assets activities, such as additions, disposals, depreciation, and ensuring proper tracking and control.
  • Overseeing inter-company transactions, including balance confirmations and netting processes.
  • Conducting balance sheet reviews in collaboration with finance controllers or business partners.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, with monthly follow-ups on discrepancies.
  • Collaborating closely with finance and business teams to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Leading monthly closing and reporting processes.
  • Assisting with financial audits, both internal and external.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process and system enhancements.
  • Performing other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Team Leader or Manager.

Qualifications

  • A college degree or higher, preferably in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Competence in MS Office applications.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on reporting and issue resolution.
