Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product training to facilitate new product introductions and lead educational events aimed at enhancing clients' understanding of financial markets and solutions.
  • Implement a needs-based sales approach to ensure clients receive a meaningful and consistent wealth management experience, ultimately achieving exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) in building client trust and commitment, thereby deepening their relationships with HSBC and improving the effectiveness of services provided to target clients.
  • Enhance HSBC's reputation as a premier wealth provider by granting clients access to advanced technical product expertise.
  • Conduct comprehensive portfolio assessments with RMs, evaluate product suitability, and analyze the impact of market and regulatory changes on clients' holdings, identifying opportunities and managing risks accordingly.
  • Accompany RMs in client meetings, offering professional advice and insights based on technical knowledge while serving as a secondary contact for specific products and solutions.
  • Independently manage transactions for clients with specific insurance needs during meetings.
  • Elevate RMs' product-specific technical knowledge through effective on-the-job coaching and training.
  • Engage in activities such as joint meetings, training sessions, coaching, client seminars, portfolio reviews, and policy assessments.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • A minimum of six years of experience as a product specialist or financial advisor, or at least one year as a Sub-branch Manager within WPB.
  • Exceptional client engagement skills, with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide tailored solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of complex financial products and solutions, including an understanding of financial markets, socio-economic dynamics, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive awareness of external market conditions, new product offerings, and insights into current financial market activities.
  • Proven ability to accurately identify client needs.
  • Strong skills in managing a consultative sales process.
  • A solid understanding of global Anti-Money Laundering standards.
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local and group compliance regulations.
  • Specialization in one or more product categories such as Estate Planning, Retirement, Protection, or Education.
