Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Data Analytics Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our corporate finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic insights and data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with global and regional shared services teams to identify new business intelligence capabilities and projects that drive business value.
  • Conduct in-depth investigations into business operations and identify opportunities for improvement, leading or supporting implementation of solutions.
  • Develop and maintain reports, data sets, and data visualization tools to provide business stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Design and implement data validation, scalability, and security measures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Create and deliver standards for data visualization architecture, including Power BI and other data visualization frameworks.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies, such as machine learning and natural language processing, to improve data cleansing and validation processes.
  • Develop and maintain ad-hoc reports and projects, as well as ongoing reporting to support business decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Python, with experience in AI, ML, and data science a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with excellent business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for new technologies and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proven team player with collaborative mindset.
