About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our team at Markem-Imaje in Shanghai. As a key member of our Supply Chain China team, you will be responsible for maintaining site supply chain data, planning and organizing SC activities, and managing site office-related facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate cross-functional KPI dashboards to ensure timely and accurate data maintenance, and assist in data analysis to support management team reviews.
  • Develop and communicate SC performance results through easy-to-understand reports, ensuring timely delivery to front-line employees.
  • Plan and organize SC and/or site activities, including events such as Annual Employees communications, Annual Star appraisal and award, and monthly OP-EX management meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to the China Supply Chain team, including travel arrangements, meeting agendas, calendar management, expense reimbursement, and business cards.
  • Manage site office-related facilities to ensure efficient, reliable, and economic administrative needs.
  • Oversee 3rd-party on-site service agencies, including shuttle bus services, sanitation, pest prevention, drinking supplies, and recyclable waste collection.
  • Support NPPR handling or purchasing of non-production materials as assigned by the manager.
  • Act as a contact window for external local authority departments as assigned by the manager.
  • Backup person for China BU admin assistant for most administrative job scopes.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager or as needed.
Requirements
  • University degree;
  • 2 years working experience. Supply Chain background is preferred;
  • Strong interpersonal relationship, good communication skill, and strong service sense;
  • Positive and self-confidence;
  • Good written and verbal skills in English and Chinese;
  • Solid skill in Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize work based on business needs.
