Job Summary:

To provide professional technical support during the specification and implementation of Industry Software solutions, predominantly within the Chemical, Life Science, and Oil & Gas industries. The successful candidate will be involved from initial client discussions through to commissioning of solutions.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop Industry Software solutions based on client requirements.
  • Implement Industry Software projects using Aspen IP.21 / ProMV / Inmation platforms.
  • Explore process improvement opportunities with industrial software.
  • Realize the benefits of big analytics and quantify expected financial improvements.
  • Utilize PCA / PLS and other modeling methods for big data analysis.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers based on technical expertise.
  • Complete the implementation of Industry Software solutions and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Complete other job assignments as directed by the Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager.
  • Ensure accurate project completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Support local sales / Market teams to work closely with potential customers.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • University degree in a chemical engineering subject area.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a process optimization engineer, preferably with Industry Software experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.
  • Good presentation skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, outgoing personality.
  • Occupational Health and Safety awareness.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Industry Software system development and implementation.
  • Experience with Chemical process improvement implementation.
  • Familiarity with process optimization software.
  • Knowledge and experience of ProMV.
  • Machine Learning knowledge.
