Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Digitalization Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY XI'AN POWER CAPACITOR CO., LTD. As a Digitalization Engineer, you will be responsible for leading digital project development and digital platform upgrade to enhance the digitalization level of our operation system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead digital project development and digital platform upgrade to achieve the goal of manufacturing system intelligent upgrade.
  • Implement standardized digital modules and form interconnected digital networks.
  • Develop and maintain digital tools, including SAP, MOM/MES, EMS, DPS, and EIP.
  • Create and organize a virtual team to support digitalization and data integration.
  • Identify opportunities for digitalization and transform them into digital projects based on technology feasibility studies and investment vs. benefit analysis.
  • Regularly review the operation status of digital systems and continuously upgrade and maintain systems to reach better performance.
  • Support outsourcing digital projects, assess supplier capabilities, and ensure system go-live timely.
  • Align with global digital strategy and ensure local digital platforms are compatible with fundamental systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • More than 2 years' experience as a lead of digitalization in manufacturing areas and familiar with operation processes.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as VB/VBA, C#, Python, etc.
  • Proficient with MS SQL or MySQL databases.
  • Familiar with UI design, client development, database programming, and web server construction.
  • Familiar with web servers, networks, data security, and other related knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Both spoken and written English language is required.
