Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations related to General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets (FA) to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and accounting standards.
2. Evaluate accounting entries prepared by GL/FA accountants in compliance with GAAP, including reviewing system-generated journal entries and making necessary adjustments.
3. Prepare and supervise the closing checklist and activities.
4. Assess reports generated by GL/FA accountants to ensure they meet GAAP standards and corporate policies, including HFM and statutory reports.
5. Review account reconciliation reports and compile reconciliation status updates.
6. Analyze regular and ad-hoc reports to ensure quality and compliance with corporate policies.
7. Prepare and review SOX documentation related to GL and FA functions, ensuring alignment with the company's current practices and implementing action plans to address any findings.
8. Coordinate and assist with both internal and external audits.
9. Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and support the implementation of initiatives for continuous optimization.
10. Mentor and develop team members, monitor their performance, and assist in resolving functional issues to achieve team objectives.
11. Address troubleshooting and problem resolution in daily operations.
12. Update training manuals to ensure they remain current.
13. Support new project implementations.
14. Serve as a backup for the manager during their absence and identify potential managerial talent.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
2. Over 5 years of experience in GL, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
3. Strong understanding of US GAAP, PRC accounting standards, and relevant statutory regulations.
4. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
5. Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP and Hyperion is a plus.
6. Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a proactive approach, with a customer-oriented mindset and self-motivation.
7. Ability to perform tasks independently and solve problems effectively.
8. Strong people management skills.
