Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager/Assistant Manager to lead and supervise our Location Procurement team in North China. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional procurement support to internal customers, harmonizing LCP activities across locations, and driving procurement processes efficiency enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the Location Procurement team in North China, including day-to-day people and task management, annual target setting, performance management and evaluation, training plan and implementation, etc.
  • Provide professional procurement support to internal customers for the requirements of goods and services in compliance with related procurement policy and procedures.
  • Harmonize the LCP activities across locations, including real estate leasing and renovation, and identify and act on opportunities to minimize the total cost of ownership to the organization.
  • Develop and maintain sound business relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
  • Ensure timely reports and information is given to the superior's and management's attention related to the responsibility in charge.
  • Drive procurement processes efficiency enhancement.

Requirements

  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity, good team leader and player.
  • Minimum university degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement field, with at least 5 years in managerial position.
  • Strong communication (both oral and written English and Mandarin), able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization (cross-locations) and suppliers.
  • Good commercial analysis ability, sound negotiation skills, sensitive to figures.
  • Proactive and able to lead & guide a team to achieve goals under stress.
  • Strategic thinking and mindset, strong problem-solving skill, willing to accept challenges.
