About the Role

At Deutsche Bank (China) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Branch, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Coverage Originator - Director to join our Corporate Coverage team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the coverage of a portfolio of Multinational Corporate Clients with revenue growth potential across core Corporate Banking product suite.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the coverage of a portfolio of Multinational Corporate Clients with revenue growth potential across core Corporate Banking product suite.
  • Senior client coverage and originator to identify opportunities and structure solutions across the Corporate Bank product suite in coordination with product sales specialists.
  • Advisor and trusted partner for Regional C-Suite and Treasurers of large Multinational Corporates in the region.
  • Strategic dialogue with clients to originate new business opportunities and partner to meet their business objectives.
  • Closely coordinate with global and local country coverage bankers and product sales specialists to ensure integrated and seamless coverage for our clients' Treasury Centres.
  • Provide insights and advisory relating to macroeconomic, geopolitical and regulatory trends in APAC impacting our clients and the industry they operate in.
  • Keep abreast of developments in the client business and the industry ecosystem whilst managing risks within the portfolio.
  • Accountable for the client lifecycle including interface with Credit, Know Your Customer, Anti-Financial Crime and other internal stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience

  • 8 years+ of banking experience in APAC – managing Multinational corporate client relationships in a relationship management or product sales specialist function in a global financial institution, with 3 years+ experience in a global/regional role capacity.
  • Strong experience in executing complex deals across banking products such as Structured Financing, Balance Sheet optimization, Liquidity Management, Export Credit Agency / Multilateral Development Bank related structures, Risk Management, Sustainable Finance.
  • Knowledge on Credit Risk Management, Corporate Banking products and Risk Management in relation to corporates.
  • Understanding of the financial statements of Corporates and the business environment they operate in and abreast of regulatory and macroeconomic trends in APAC with industry specific knowledge.
