Job Summary:
HSBC is seeking a skilled Business Development Credit Specialist to join our Wholesale COO team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in enabling the execution of GB and CMB strategies across the region. Your primary responsibilities will include writing and completing credit applications in a timely manner, managing proposal workloads, and conducting proactive communications with RM teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth credit, financial, and industry analysis for each credit application, based on a thorough understanding of the client business, the related industry, and the local market.
- Ensure that all credit applications are completed on time and with high quality, while maintaining a portfolio-level view that balances risk and growth opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with RM teams and clients to collect updated information and produce high-quality credit applications timely.
- Ensure full compliance with bank policies and external regulations for all credits, while having the flexibility to fulfill ad-hoc credit-related tasks within the aligned timeframe.

Requirements:
- Relevant university degree recognized by the state and preferably professional qualifications.
- At least two years of experience in corporate or general banking with solid credit skills.
- In-depth knowledge of local market and working exposure in large local corporates, with sound judgment capability and risk sense to balancing business growth and credit risks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence to deal with senior management of large corporates.
- Good written and spoken English and Mandarin skills are essential.
