Senior Advisor, Clinical Research Job Overview

We're looking for a skilled Clinical Research Lead to join our team at Lilly China Drug Development and Medical Affair Center (LCDDMAC). This role will play a critical part in the hematology malignancy area, one of our strategic therapeutic areas.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to take on a core medical role as a scientific leader in drug development and medical affairs. As a Clinical Research Lead, you'll be responsible for providing medical expertise to clinical strategic planning and execution, ensuring seamless integration with local business operations and enhancing customer experience in scientific interaction with Eli Lilly.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per yearJob Description

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Taking a leadership role in defining patient journeys, identifying evidence gaps, and developing integrated evidence generation plans and medical strategies.
  • Contributing actively to strategic planning for currently marketed brands and supporting brand commercialization activities during the development of the local business plan.
  • Providing scientific and medical expertise to activities and deliverables of the PRA organization, including giving clinical input and insight to develop payer partnership programs and defend product value, supporting negotiation strategy development and dossier preparation.
  • Strategically leading and contributing to planning and execution of medical meetings, real-world studies, data analysis, and publication development while ensuring compliance.
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborations and relationships with external scientific experts, thought leaders, and the general medical community.
  • Collaborating with global teams in the clinical development strategy, study planning, designing, startup, and conduct of phase I-IV clinical trials, analysis, and reporting of China data or study data.
Key Requirements
  • Medical Doctor degree; must be board eligible or certified in an appropriate specialty.
  • At least 2 years of industry experience; pharmaceutical company central medical experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance scientific priorities with business priorities.
  • Able to influence others both cross-functionally and within the function to create a positive working environment.
  • Ability to engage in domestic and international travel as needed to support business objectives.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
