We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic intern in the field of planning and controls software engineering. This role focuses on the development and enhancement of essential driver assistance and autonomous driving functionalities for our advanced DRIVE platform. You will engage in a variety of planning and control challenges to create targeted software solutions. By collaborating effectively with established teams, you will contribute to the design and refinement of innovative products from conception to production.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating algorithms for driving functionalities that leverage principles of physics, control systems, planning methodologies, and vehicle dynamics.
  • Establishing and validating product specifications through comprehensive analysis, simulation, in-vehicle testing, and comparison with existing solutions.
  • Working alongside our internal teams to conduct performance assessments and safety evaluations.
  • Transforming prototype software into production-ready quality.

Qualifications We Are Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or technical discipline (such as Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Physics, etc.).
  • Proficiency in software development using C++.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a software development context, utilizing GitLab or similar tools.
  • Experience in software development with GIT in a Linux operating system.
