Job Title: Game Designer

We are seeking a skilled Game Designer to join our Shanghai Studio and contribute to the development of engaging and immersive battleship shooter games for mobile platforms.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the game design team to establish and execute the game design vision, ensuring the game quality, and fostering effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the game design team to establish and execute the game design vision and ensure the game quality.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of WOWSB mechanics, player dynamics, and game balance, actively contributing to their implementation and adjustment.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams (programming, QA, art, etc.) for successful implementation of game features.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in game design.
  • Proficiency in working with Unity.
  • At least one online game R&D experience, preferably in hardcore game genres such as action, shooting, strategy, etc.
  • Love games, understand mainstream games, and have clear understanding of system design, gameplay, and balance of various games.
  • Excellent communication and self-learning abilities, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility, capable of overseeing tasks to ensure high-quality completion.
  • Excellent time management skill.
  • Proficiency in using game design tools, e.g. Visio, excel and so on.
Preferred Skills
  • Good English language is a plus.
  • Experience in working as a game designer in mobile shooters.
