Position Overview:

The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for overseeing and executing internal audit initiatives that ensure our organization's internal controls and operational processes align with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular internal audit assignments to assess compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Deliver audit results that provide assurance regarding the effectiveness of internal controls and processes.
  • Collaborate with management teams to formulate audit findings and actionable recommendations aimed at enhancing business processes, profitability, and compliance.
  • Engage in the annual Sarbanes-Oxley testing of internal controls and support the assertion and attestation processes.
  • Act as a business partner to local management, fostering strong relationships.
  • Exhibit commercial and risk awareness to identify emerging risks and propose appropriate remediation strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Finance and Legal departments.
  • Provide consultancy on internal controls and risk management, delivering both written and verbal outputs as requested by management.
  • Support the development of risk assessments and audit strategies.
  • Contribute to the establishment of standardized processes, policies, and procedures across a diverse, international organization.
  • Participate in various special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility in response to changing priorities.
  • Assist with ad hoc internal investigations as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in auditing or industry accounting; CPA and public accounting experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; additional certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong team-building capabilities and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility and build positive professional relationships with colleagues and management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and demonstrated leadership qualities focused on achieving results.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Track record of meeting deadlines while managing multiple deliverables.
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% as required.

Essential Hiring Criteria:

  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley audits and financial processes.
  • Prior auditing experience in public accounting or internal audit settings.
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles.
