About the Role

Evonik is seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team. As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating complex processes, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity. You will also be responsible for generating solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Operate complex processes, adjusting diverse variables to achieve the best possible outcomes in terms of quality and productivity.
  • Generate solutions to simple and recurring inefficiencies.
  • Carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
  • Carry out standard installation activities under detailed guidance.
  • Carry out standard maintenance and repair activities under detailed guidance.
  • Carry out relatively simple testing and quality assurance tasks.
  • Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.

Requirements

  • Secondary / Intermediate + (5 GCSE)
  • Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
  • Uses clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
  • Manages and applies safe systems of work without supervision and provides technical guidance when required.
  • Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop, monitor, interpret and understand policies and procedures, while making sure they match organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to review and create relevant, lucid and effective reports.
  • Identifies, assesses, prioritizes and manages risks in a production process with guidance (but not constant supervision)
