We are seeking a skilled Machining Process Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate product design schematics and provide formal feedback;
  • Define the manufacturing workflow in HySAP in alignment with the production process plan, which includes machining, assembly, in-plant testing, sandblasting, and painting;
  • Estimate processing times for each stage;
  • Initiate and prepare requests for CNC, tooling, and packing in HySAP as per the production process;
  • Create checklists and supplementary drawings for the manufacturing process;
  • Conduct risk assessments for the production of critical components, develop corresponding technical pre-plans/solutions using P-FMEA, SOP, etc., and propose professional enhancement measures;
  • Facilitate production process review meetings for key components prior to the release of manufacturing procedures, ensuring written records and task assignments via PDCA;
  • Provide technical assistance to the workshop; monitor actual implementation and document key information during production;
  • Address non-conformance issues promptly during production; perform effective root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using A3/8D report methodologies;
  • Analyze hours and costs related to SFC, manufacturing hours, and actual hours data for key components, conducting cause analysis and implementing effective solutions for significant deviations;
  • Offer technical support to workshops, quality control, product development, manufacturing development, field service, business suppliers, and customers at the corporate level;
  • Drive continuous improvement by integrating advanced external technologies/tools into production to enhance efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in materials, mechanical engineering, or related fields;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in machining processes within the heavy industry sector, with experience in hydro products being advantageous;
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and basic knowledge of machining, painting, and finishing assembly;
  • Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and mechanical standards including ASME, ISO, and Chinese standards (GB and JB);
  • Proficient in problem analysis and resolution; adept with office software such as Microsoft Office, SAP, CAD, and Solid Edge;
  • Fluency in English for effective communication.
