Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze supplier capacity and capabilities to meet quality requirements specified in specifications, drawings, contract files, and so on.
  • Conduct project kick-off meetings with suppliers, clarifying specifications and documents to ensure compliance.
  • Consult with Engineering, Project Management, and Procurement teams on technical questions.
  • Supervise supplier manufacturing processes, identify quality non-conformances, and communicate acceptable rework instructions.
  • Participate in physical inspection activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Assist suppliers with personnel and procedure qualifications, manufacturing procedures, and quality package preparation.
  • Review and sign-off supplier personnel and procedure qualifications, reports, and final quality packages.
  • Maintain the use of quality modules in Jagger Direct for responsible suppliers.
  • Conduct periodic supplier quality audits, evaluations, and sustainability internal audits.
  • Manage supplier continuous improvement actions and recommend changes to improve product quality and production efficiency.
  • Develop new suppliers and products for demand from Competence Centers and Procurement.
  • Provide source inspection reports and project status reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with strong knowledge in fabrication and welding.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fabrication and welding, preferably in heavy equipment manufacturing.
  • Basic knowledge in machining, heat treatment, NDE, material testing, and other relevant areas.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), International Welding Engineer (IWE), Protective Coating Inspector (PCI), or NDT qualifications are preferred.
