About the Role

The Data Scientist position at RE Info Tech-Shanghai branch Company involves conducting experiments on large datasets to evaluate the feasibility, results, and performance of NLP and LLM. This role requires making sound engineering decisions and improving software development practices with an eye for performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Perform advanced data analysis, modeling, and machine learning to develop predictive and prescriptive models that drive business outcomes.
  • Data Collection and Preparation: Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Machine Learning and AI: Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and AI solutions to solve complex business problems.
  • Data Visualization: Create informative and compelling data visualizations to communicate results and insights to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to identify opportunities and address business challenges.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in data science and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
  • Model Deployment: Assist in the deployment of machine learning models into production environments.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of projects, models, and code for knowledge sharing and reproducibility.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) working in data science, machine learning, or AI, with a track record of delivering impactful projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, as well as relevant data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Generative AI Experience: Experience with generative AI models and techniques (e.g., LLMs, GANs) for content generation.
  • Prompt Engineering: Expertise in prompt engineering for fine-tuning language models like GPT-3.5 or similar models.
  • Statistical Analysis: Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data manipulation techniques.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
