Job Summary

This role is responsible for driving seasoning innovation in APAC, focusing on delivering flavor solutions for Indonesia and Vietnam snack markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science, chemistry, or culinary arts, with experience in flavor development and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop seasoning designs aligned with product design briefs, collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in whole flavor solution design for breakthrough projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Rectify seasoning functionality issues with suppliers, maintaining a robust and sustainable relationship.
  • Identify opportunities to improve seasoning development processes, enhancing efficiency and quality.
  • Support technical dossier owners in maintaining seasoning documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Build a strong network with global seasoning teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, or culinary arts, with a master's degree preferred.
  • Asia cuisine knowledge is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Upper-intermediate English language proficiency.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, and logical thinker.

  • Able to discriminate and articulate aroma and flavor notes, with flexibility in describing flavors in technical or consumer-friendly languages.
  • Pass a simple sensory qualification test.
  • Experience in selecting flavors or fragrances for consumer products.
  • Proven ability to manage suppliers in a fair and frank manner.
  • Open-minded, curious, and innovative personality.
