Accounting Manager for Financial Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, and reviewing journal entries and account balance reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, and account balance reconciliations
  • Provide day-to-day leadership across the processing, reporting, and month-end closing activities for Invoice Processing, Payment Processing, and Travel & Expense Processing
  • Report accurate, timely, and insightful monthly management accounts and financial updates for management review
  • Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies, including the review and implementation of process and system changes
  • Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsels to ensure successful audit results and compliance
  • Analyze contracts with clients, establish and maintain a process to monitor and report revenue. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting revenue
  • Prepare summary feedback of financial statements variances to budget

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience of 6+ years in accounting or related fields
  • Fluent in English (CET-6) and Chinese
  • Strong knowledge in Chinese accounting standards, tax knowledge, and foreign currency regulations
  • Accounting software/SAP system skills
  • Strong computer skills (e.g., MS Office)
  • Strong research ability, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills
  • Highly motivated, able to multi-task, and work independently under deadline
