About the Role
As a Medical Affairs Specialist at Medtronic, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of evidence-based medical affairs strategies for our organization. Your expertise will be essential in providing medical input to various functions and organizational units, facilitating insightful decision-making, and enabling the achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the science behind our products, ensuring accurate and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Drive competitive intelligence in our product space, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and implement integrated evidence-based medical affairs strategic plans, aligning with business objectives and organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide medical input, ensuring informed decision-making and effective execution.
- Ensure effective objective value propositions are developed and articulated for Medtronic technologies, showcasing their benefits to stakeholders.
- MD designation only: Provide medical expertise in the interpretation of clinical trials and research, sign off on product safety reviews, and establish scientific methods for clinical protocol design and implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
